Giancarlo Tintori’s contemporary take on the traditional chandelier form is just breath-taking. Using the vertically presented tube as the elemental basis for the form, all of Uma Suspension Lamp’s components are cylinders of various diameters and heights that have been methodically assembled within a complex steel supporting frame. As the cylinders are transparent as well as open both at their respective bases and tops, the resulting aesthetic is profound levity – the sheer number of cylindrical elements used connotes opulence.
