HBF - C Collection



Renowned designer Yves Béhar of fuseproject has created a bold collection of lounge, reception and private sitting area furnishings. The clean lines and contemporary styling of the C Collection integrate practical features such as functionality, ergonomic comfort, pull up work surfaces, and complementary lighting to create an efficient and elegant option for modern interiors. C Collection lounge seating, combined with C tables, provide a multitude of possible design configurations.

About Yves Béhar



Yves Béhar’s innovative designs have garnered more than 150 awards and his work is in the permanent collections of museums including the Musée Nationale d’Art Moderne/Centre Pompidou, the MOMA, the Munich Museum of Applied Arts and the Chicago Art Institute.

In 2009 Yves Béhar was the one of two industrial designers invited to speak at Davos.

For Kettal, Hella Jongerius designed a club garden set named BOB, a reinterpretation of the typical garden club chair. The aluminum frame has a sturdy dark look from the front but surprises at the back with an elegant, light construction. The seating is formed of soft and voluminous ribs which are accented with visible stitching. Winded yarn is used for the detailing of the armrests and on the handles of the BOB footstool and side table.

About HELLA JONGERIUS



Hella Jongerius has become known for the special way she fuses industry and craft, high and low tech, tradition and the contemporary. After graduating Eindhoven Design Academy, she started her own design company, Jongeriuslab, through which she produces her own projects and projects for Maharam, Royal Tichelaar Makkum, and Vitra. Her work has been shown at museums and the best galleries.

Dutch designer Marcel Wanders is celebrated for his wit, humour and flamboyance. But his ultimate goal is to produce works that endure.

It’s easy to strike Marcel Wanders off as a sensationalist. His Airborne Snotty series of vases, for instance, are modelled on three-dimensional scans of airborne mucus expelled during a sneeze - not quite the subject of polite conversation. Then there are the provocative advertising campaigns for Moooi, a studio he set up in 2001, featuring nude male and female models in acrobatic positions: swinging from chandeliers, doing splits atop sofas, or balancing pieces of furniture on their limbs. It’s not that Wanders craves attention. Rather, he derives great pleasure from seeing his works elicit a response from the public.

The 2007 Visionary Award winning artist of the New York Museum of Arts and Design. Born in the Netherlands, he is one of the most significant designers on the international stage. He has been awarded numerous prizes and his designs have been selected by the most important design collections in the world, such as MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, and the V&A Museum in London.

Inspired by early-century pavilions, Kettal Atmosphere is an enveloping collection where light, sound and shape combine to create a unique atmosphere and lifestyle. The system consists of a totally configurable aluminium pavilion and contemporary
furniture set inspired by bygone days.


Cappellini - Wanders' Tulip Armchair

Marcel Wanders and Cappellini confirm that designing is also and fundamentally about having fun: Wanders’ Tulip Armchair is an important product, but fresh and happy, a reinterpretation of the lengthened and oversized dimensions of the classic armchair. Mimicking the stem of a flower, a shiny revolving base in dark varnished metal provides support.
